Olivia's first trip to the ER!! On Friday, April 11th Olivia dropped a flashlight on her left big toe. On Sunday, April 13th we decided we better go get the "BIG TOE" checked out because she could not put any pressure at all on the big toe and was in pain. We first went to Children's Urgent Care and waited 3 hours for them to tell us that we need to go downtown to Children's Hospital ER. After a 2 hour wait at Children's hospital ER we finally got a diagnosis.......she has an open fracture at the top of her toe and had to have a hole put in the top of her toenail to let the blood drain out. Olivia was such a big girl - she didn't cry at all when they performed the procedure!!! It has now been two weeks since the accident and her toe is feeling much better!
