october soccer party

Here is Olivia and her friend Hannah at the end of season soccer pizza party. The coach had a soccer party for the team at Donatos and all of the players received a trophy. Olivia is SO proud of her soccer trophy! GO GREEN GATORS!!

pumpkin farm october 2008

Here is our annual family trip to Shaw's Pumpkin Farm in Milford, Ohio. They have a ton of pumpkins to choose from and a little petting zoo.

Olivia picked out the pumpkins - big one is the family pumpkin, middle size pumpkin is hers and the little baby pumpkin is Gabrielle's.

Gabrielle 4 1/2 mths old

Gabrielle is growing up so fast! She smiles and laughs all the time and can even hold her own bottle, but most of the time she would rather have mommy hold it for her!!

disney world trip

We went to Disney World the first week of October. We had a wonderful time - it was not crowded at all and walked on to most rides with no wait! Since there were no lines to wait in we got to ride a ton of rides and meet a lot of characters. Olivia's favorite characters were Ariel, Snow White and Piglet! Her favorite rides were the Teacups and It's a Small World boat ride. My favorite ride was Peter Pan's Flight. We also went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party one night - they had trick or treating for the kids, a villian show, halloween fireworks and best of all the halloween parade! We did a Princess lunch at Epcot and breakfast with Donald Duck at Animal Kingdom and saw the show Fantasmic with Mickey Mouse at Hollywood Studios - which by the way was the best show I've ever seen! We had an great vacation and Olivia was very sad when we had to leave to come home. Our last night there Olivia said to us "I want to live in Disney." I'm so glad she enjoyed her visit to Disney World!

The night of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party Olivia got to meet Snow White and the seven dwarfs - she loves Snow White so this was very special for her!

first day of pre-k September 9th

Olivia started her first day of pre-k on Tuesday, September 9th. She goes to her pre-k class on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30 to 3:00. She also takes a Science class on Monday mornings from 9:20 - 11:50. Olivia really enjoys school - she loves making crafts, playing with her friends and being the line leader!

first soccer game - august 13

Here is Olivia before her first soccer game - team name "Green Gators". I told Olivia I wanted to get a few pics of her before her soccer game and as I was getting ready to tell her how to pose with the soccer ball she said to me "mom I know what to do." She posed herself in the first two pics with the soccer ball....I was totally floored...she posed herself better than I could have!! I thought the pics turned out really cute, except for the fact that her uniform is big enough to fit a 10 year old! Anyways, she did really well at her first game and even got to play against her little boyfriend's team ( a boy that was in her preschool class last year that she claims to be in love with). Can you believe that - at the tender age of 5! I thought girls were supposed to think boys were yucky at this age!!!

I can't believe how fast my baby is growing up....time is just flying by so fast! She can now roll over from her back to her tummy and from her tummy to her back. She smiles all the time now and had her first little belly laugh this weekend!! We love her SO much!

the zoo - labor day weekend

Labor day weekend we decided to take the girls to the zoo. It was a nice day, but HOT! Olivia really enjoyed seeing all the animals - her favorite animal this time was the polar bear - he was so cute swimming around in the water!

look who's 5

For Olivia's 5th birthday we had a Circus party. Olivia invited all her friends over to our house for loads of birthday FUN! We had pizza, cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn, clowns, face painting and a jumping thing that the kids could jump in. The kids loved the jumpy thing and really enjoyed getting their faces painted - Olivia had her face painted like a duck. It was a great birthday and we really had a great time watching Olivia have fun with all her friends!

Olivia is playing fall soccer this year and her daddy is the assitant coach. She had her first practice on August 6th and her first game is August 13th. She had a great time at soccer practice and is really excited for her first game. GO OLIVIA!

family trip to Georgia

On Thursday, July 31st me, Mike, Olivia, Gabrielle and Mimi (my mom) went to my Aunt's house in Georgia for a long weekend of fun and relaxation! This was Gabrielle's first trip and she did very well! Mike golfed everyday and we went to the pool and took Olivia to the American Girl store where Mimi bought her her very first American Girl doll for her 5th birthday! Needless to say Olivia LOVED the American Girl store and had a very difficult time choosing which doll she wanted. She wanted everything she saw in the store! In the end she finally made up her mind and picked Ruthie. We got Ruthie some pink pajamas, a work out outfit and a gardening outfit. Olivia was thrilled with her doll and has played with her everyday since getting her!
